Utility kitchen knife. Blade: Two bars, twisted Damascus 5160 and 15N20 steel, full flat ground, 15.2 cm (6"), 2.3 mm (3/32") thick, 1200 grit satin finish. Handle: water buffalo horn, spalted maple spacer, red/black/white vulcanized fibers, 304 stainless bolsters, pins and tube. OAL 30 cm (11-3/4").
The blade has been deep etched with acid and then polished to 1200 grit. The grooves formed on the blade by the pattern will make easy to cut sticky foods like cheeses without them adhering on the blade.

The slightly curved cutting edge is great for slicing action and for chopping and mincing vegetables.
