Folding Knives
Building each unique knife, I pay special attention to the mechanism and the knife's purpose. Nothing is left to chance… While designing my folding knives, I utilize different types of locks, the best materials I can find, and my own special Damascus.
Back lock. Blade 65 mm, 3,5 mm thick raidrop damascus, hollow ground on teflon washers, filworked to emphasize the grain of damascus. Handle: solid back/spring 4 mm 160 layers plain damascus fully filworked; bolsters 160 layer plain damascus; brass liners and bail; AAAA mother of pearl scales; overall length 155 mm.

Back lock. Blade 85 mm, 3mm thick firestorm nickel damascus, edge twisted damascus 1070+15n20, full hollow ground brass washers. Handle: liners 304, one piece back/spring 440A inox steel, bolsters plain nickel damascus, pins and bail 304 inox steel, ebony scales from an old cello fingerboard.
Back lock. Blade: 102 mm, 3.5 mm thick mosaic damascus k720/15n20 on brass washers, roping filework, double hollow ground. Handle: ebony scales and mop AAAA grade bolsters on brass liners, brass pins, abalone inlays (autumn leaves). Solid Backspring: 4 mm ma5m fully fileworked with brass bail. The blade locks in both opened and closed position.

Fixed spring back lock. Blade 16.5 cm, 3 mm thick 5160 spring steel, full flat ground on bronze washers, filworked, roping pattern. Handle: 5160 back spring, water horn handle, butt end sculpted as a simplified dragon head; OAL open 34 cm (13.5").
This kind of knife was often worn in the late XVIII - early XIX century (1700 - 1800) by most of male population in the city of Rome.
Fixed spring back lock. Blade 16.5 cm, 3 mm thick 5160 spring steel, full flat ground on bronze washers, filworked, roping pattern. Handle: 5160 back spring, water horn handle, butt end sculpted as a simplified dragon head; OAL open 34 cm (13.5").
Slipjoint. Blade: 2", 1/8" thick W2 with selective hardening, unrevealed, on phosphor bronze washers,flat ground. Handle: spalted maple with twisted damascus bolsters on stainless steel liners, copper pins, stainless steel pivot screw. Backspring: 1/8" 5160 steel.
